Extending the Frontiers of expertise in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering

- Rescheduled | Berlin, Germany

Conference Postponed due to Covid-19

For the past few Weeks, Chemical Research Executive Committee for the upcoming Conference (scheduled for 19 and 20 March 2020) has continuously monitored the effects of COVID-19 on nations around the world, especially, Germany where the conferences will be hosted. Currently, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has classified COVID-19 a ‘pandemic’. Therefore, countries all over the world have put different measures in place to minimize the spread of the virus. Noticeably, the local authority responsible for Berlin (the city for the conference) has advised against the meetings of large groups, including third party conferences.

As an event organizing company, ‘people’ are our key resource, hence, we are committed to the protection of the health and well-being of our attendees, partners and the scientific community. Based on the above developments, the Executive Committee has taken the decision to postpone the conference to a future date to enable us provide the experience that our stakeholders expect and deserve in a safe environment.

We want to reassure all our stakeholders that the Secretariat will continue to monitor all developments related to COVID-19 and will advise as soon as possible on future developments. The new dates for the Chemical Research conference will be communicated as early as possible in good time for delegates to make appropriate arrangements for their participation in the conference.
