Andreas Schnepf works at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, University of Tübingen. He does research in Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Materials Chemistry focusing on metal rich metalloid clusters and their application in Nanotechnology. For the synthesis he develops and applies the preparative co-condensation technique giving the opportunity to work with novel reagents based on highly reactive molecules like GeCl or SiCl.
Yizhak Marcus, PhD, is a Professor Emeritus at the Hebrew University in Israel. His main interest is the chemistry of liquids and solutions: aqueous, non-aqueous, and mixed solvents, supercritical fluids, solutions of electrolytes and non-electrolytes. He has published in this and neighboring fields 10 books and over 300 papers in refereed journals as well as some 30 chapters in multi-author books.
Vittorio Scardaci graduated in Industrial Chemistry at the University of Catania in July 2004 with 110/110 marks and honors. In October of the same year he began a PhD at the University of Cambridge, Department of Engineering, which was awarded in February 2009. During this period he mainly dealt with the development of composite materials based on Carbon nanotubes for applications in photonic devices.

Prof. Dr. Marta I. Litter is an Doctor in Chemistry, Buenos Aires University, Argentina (1974). Head of Remediation Technologies Division, National Atomic Energy Commission, Argentinad up to 2018. Senior Researcher, National Research Council (CONICET, Argentina). Full Professor, University of General San Martín, Argentina. More than 200 scientific publications. Coordinator of the CYTED IBEROARSEN Network (2006-2009). Mercosur Prize 2006 and 2011 in Science and Technology
Chiara Milanese is associate professor of Physical Chemistry at the Chemistry Department of the University of Pavia (Italy). Her main research interests regard the synthesis of innovative nanomaterials for solid state hydrogen storage and for energy storage, their physico-chemical characterization and the evaluation of their storage performance. In the last 5 years, her attention was mainly focused on C-based materials, in particular fullerene derivatives and biochar.
